Associate Dentist

Job Description

As an associate dentist, you will be asked to diagnose and treat our patients’ dental health problems, examining both the teeth and soft tissue, providing oral health guidance, and preventing future problems from occurring. You will also be asked to create personal treatment plans for each patient and serve as lead expert to ensure these procedures meet our high standards of care. Our ideal candidate is able to provide personal assistance, medical attention and emotional support to our patients throughout their time with us.

Required Licensure:

  • Current State Licensure

Dental Hygienist

Job Description

As a dental hygienist, you will be asked to promote and maintain our patients’ dental health using modern dental technology while adhering to OSHA and office infection control protocols, maintaining a safe and positive work environment and working effectively with our team.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Prepare treatment rooms according to office procedures
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment according to OSHA and office infection control policies and regulations
  • Sterilize and otherwise maintain dental hygiene instruments and equipment
  • Welcome, seat and prepare patients for treatment
  • Communicate treatment information to patients and team members and answer follow-up questions
  • Evaluate patient oral health and select treatment material and equipment accordingly

Dental Assistant

Currently our dental team is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to perform the following duties:

  • Four-handed, chair-side assistance in all dental procedures with dentist
  • Sterilizing dental equipment for procedures
  • Prepare operatories for each procedure with the necessary equipment and charts
  • Maintain dental records for each patient on the Dentrix system and in charts, file as needed
  • Charting for patients in cooperation with the Dental Hygienists
  • Prepare patients for the visit including taking x-rays
  • Educate patients on proper dental care
  • Maintain dental inventory, order supplies and restock as needed
  • Coordinate activities with the other staff of the practice
  • Maintain cleanliness of all office areas as needed
  • Ensure patient follow COVID-19 protocols while in the office
  • Build caring relationships with each patient
  • Make appointments for the patients
  • Perform receptionist duties as needed

Requirements include:

  • Graduate of a Dental Assistant program with Extended Dental Functions Assistant (EDFA) certification, Associate’s Degree in Dental Assisting, or equivalent program
  • Minimum of two years of prior dental assistance work experience
  • Three or more years of experience or lead dental assistance preferred, but will consider a dental assistant graduate with 2 years of experience
  • Manual dexterity with precise tools and instruments
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work closely with all staff and patients
  • Basic knowledge of computers
  • Previous experience with Practice Management software, Dentrix preferred
  • Desire to grow and learn
  • Ability to work reliably on scheduled days with flexibility to fill in for other staff as needed

Reception Coordinator

Our office is growing and so is our scheduling team! We have just recently added to our team of doctors, and with that comes the need for additional expertise in our scheduling department.
